I was just pleased with the photo, so I thought I'd stick it on my blog. This is a Tufted Duck (male), he and a female have been on the lake for a few days now.
We've not had any tufties for a while; nice to see them back.
(Note to quiz teams which include Councillor Lewis - this is not a "Great Tufted Thingie")
