Quite a while back I posted a review of the Tim Robbins film "Dead Man Walking". That posting has just attracted a very lengthy comment from someone called Dudley Sharp, who claims in his final paragraph to have
"...appeared on ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, C-Span, Court TV, FOX, NBC, NPR, PBS and many other TV and radio networks, on such programs as Nightline, The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, The O'Reilly Factor, etc., has been quoted in newspapers throughout the world". He is also apparently a published author. That's him in the photo, which I copied from one of the pro-capital punishment websites he likes appearing on.
I'm very flattered that my little Millbrookian musings have attracted the attention of so eminent a personage.
He hails from Texas - hey, isn't that where moron Bush kept getting elected governor by executing lots and lots of black and/or poor people to keep the Christian right happy?
Anyway, in the spirit of what I've always said; I will publish anything that's not libellous and not abusive toward me (open your own blog for that), the curious amongst you may wish to wade through Mr Sharp's religious justifications for state sponsored murder. It's available by clicking on "comments" below the original posting.
It's always amusing to be visited by basket cases, even right wing evangelist Americans (far too many of those on the planet in my humble: bring on "the rapture" so the buggers leave us normal thinking folk alone).
