Inappropriate Kitsch

I promised myself that I wasn't going to do lots of taking stuff from other websites and then passing it on to Daily(ish) Millbrook readers. It's not the same as coming up with something myself and blethering endlessly on about very little.

However....

The following photo is example of why religious people probably shouldn't be allowed to choose themed household objects.

We've all heard of hideous glow-in-the-dark Madonnas and most of us will, at one time or another, have been in a sitting room dominated by a crucifix or something similar. Nothing wrong with that, if it's the bag you're into.

Another however...

I defy anyone to see this bit of Christian kitsch and not have wildly inappropriate thoughts. The designer probably hadn't really worked this one out properly.

All we can see is an innocent lightswitch design... surely you can't be implying there's anything inappropriate about small children admiring Jesus' advanced technology?
