Arriving a few days later than Christmas, our present from Rob is now in action for the first time, nestling nicely on the ancient hob in our undesigner kitchen.
Does being the proud owners of a Le Creuset kettle make us irredeemably bourgeois?
Note old, primitive, kettle on the left - shortly to be transferred to another undesigner kitchen in rural Brittany where it will replace a whistle-less red French thing.
