All Change At Millbrooker Towers

A new cooker and a massive sort out (still ongoing) has resulted in a sparkling new and decidedly budget end unfitted kitchen for the use of Millbrookers and Mrs The Millbrookers along with any assorted offspring who happen along.

It might not be one of Smallbone of Devizes' eye-wateringly expensive works of cabinet maker's skill, but I can cook in it and the (ahem) carefully arranged messiness will slowly (very slowly) get sorted out..Right - off to said kitchen immediately to perform a minor miracle with some black-eyed beans and bacon off-cuts whilst enjoying the dulcet tones of Eddie Mair on PM, my frequent cooking companion who speaks to me through the magic box in the background of the photo.
