A New Insight Venture

This coming Friday, assuming everything works out as it should, yours truly will be making a short trip to the BBC studios in Plymouth to record a series of talks for Insight Radio's Morning Mix programme.

This is a bit different from the Insight Adventures that I've been doing more or less monthly for the last 18 months or so.

The new spot is intended to be weekly (although I'm not sure what day it's going to go out) and it's all about cooking and food. Mmmm - a subject very close to my heart, as I'm sure you're already aware.
To this end, I spent a lot of yesterday in preparatory work, going through some old favourite recipes and creating a new blog site: The Millbrook Cook Book. It's far from perfect, there's lots of plans for improvements to the site and at the moment it's only got seven or so recipes on it; this number will grow and eventually I'll work out some way of indexing it so whoever ends up looking stuff up can go more or less straight to what they're looking for.

The new Insight Radio broadcasts will be linked into podcasts as well, so those with visual difficulties can listen to me wittering on about how to boil cabbage and joint a tomato.

There's a permanent (assuming everything carries on) link on the right under "more reading in the blogosphere".
