A new One on The Millbrookcookbook

It's been a while since I updated the millbrookcookbook site, but there's a yummy new recipe on there as of about 20 minutes ago.

It's one for the vegetarian in your life - delicious, old fashioned, traditional pease pudding. Didn't Lionel Bart mention it in "Oliver!"?

I think it was in the workhouse boys' opening number Food Glorious Food: "...pease pudding and saveloy..."

And watch the 1968 film version here (the pease pudding reference is at 55 seconds - am I a sad sack or what?)... note the subtitles misspell the yummity split pea based dish as "peas, pudding and saveloys". Does spotting that make me even sadder?

Nitpickers of the world unite. Not sad, I prefer to call it "attention to detail". You would make a fine librarian, and as a librarian myself, I mean that in a good way!
