In honour of the new naval co-operation between ourselves and our Gallic cousins across the channel.
As our respective navies are to work much more closely together in future, even to the point of sharing aircraft carriers, it has been decided to find a suitable motto for the new all-but combined Anglo-French seafaring force.
The naval high commands on each side have agreed upon "To the sea - It is the time!" which has been translated for the French forces into "A l'eau, c'est l'heure".
