This coming Sunday's presentation upon the silver(ish) screen at Millbrooker Towers is something of an epic. It's also a bit of a long one (165 minutes), so a slightly earlier start might be a good idea - actually beginning to watch at 7:30 should be the aim. Slocombe is gallivanting off in France, so we might even manage it.
This week we'll be enjoying (I hope) Andrei Tarkovsky's 1966 classic Andrei Rublev - the story of the famed 15th century icon painter with all of its soviet era allegories.
