Silliness to Invade Film Club

Film club reconvenes this evening after a short hiatus involving folk festivals, Beltane celebrations and those groovy Gigspanner boys.


So - for the usual suspects (as in film clubbers, not as in Kevin Spacey and Keyser Söze), we'll begin this new season of cinematic adventure with something easy and silly.


Hailed at the time (1986) as something of a classic and largely forgotten since:

Perhaps it deserves to be largely forgotten, perhaps it's a neglected gem. Frankly, your guess is as good as mine - we'll find out tonight. Usual time, usual place.
