Once again, cinemaparadiso.co.uk has done its thing and a DVD has landed upon the Millbrooker Towers' doormat.
After last Sunday's disappointment of a DVD that refused to play and had to be sent back unwatched (we've re-ordered it, so Les Diaboliques will return to Millbrook in watchable format soonish - we hope), let's trust that we'll fare better this week.
The last minute substitution of the pantomimic, even cartoonish, Three Musketeers with Oliver Reed et al was a bit of fun but not really what any of us actually wanted to see.
Anyway - to this week's presentation:
We have the first of Krzysztof Kieslowski's trilogy based on the French ideal of Liberty, Fraternity and Equality and named after the tricolour.
Three Colours Blue was released in 1993 to wide acclaim, receiving multiple(19) awards and achieving 3 nominations for Golden Globes. So it's time to find out for ourselves what all the fuss was about.
