It's not easy getting a decent photo of a bird in flight, but I was wandering around Treninnow this morning and the skylarks were being very active. This little fellow began his song flight just overhead, and I was lucky enough to get him in my viewfinder before he got too high up and turned into the little black dot in the sky that's the usual view.
It's not a great photo, butI'm pretty pleased with it, and hearing the song was quite magical.
