The dustbin has been recovered!Nicky found it lying at the side of the road on Newport Street, just opposite Lake Mews.
It had been emptied of its rubbishy contents and left there after dark. We'd walked past that point several times during the day, and it wasn't there - so it must have been surreptitiously dumped under cover of darkness by the phantom bin molester of Millbrook.
You'll be delighted to know that the bin doesn't appear to have suffered any psychological damage from its captivity and has been contentedly sitting back in its accustomed place at the top the steps since the happy homecoming.
