How's he for a handsome little fellow? This chap was pretty tame and seems to spend his days hopping about on St Michael's Mount, picking up scraps of food from around outside tables at The Island Cafe. There are some sparrows that get pretty close too: 
I know they're not exactly rarities, but check out the beautiful markings and you've got to admit that sitting in the sunshine at a cafe table watching little birds hopping about is a pleasant way to spend a half hour or so.
