Spotted as I scanned through the financial pages of this Saturday's Independent; concerning Sir Richard Branson's reported interest in taking over the much-troubled Northern Rock Bank.
Apparently someone thinks he intends to call the new and revamped bank, as it will be under his esteemed leadership, "Northern Virgin". Now I always thought that was a contradiction in terms.
