Proof that Christmas is over

The Millbrooker Towers Christmas tree not very late into Sunday afternoon:

Sunday was spent in ardent decoration dismantling; Mrs The Millbrooker doing (as usual) the vast majority of any work requiring skill or concentration. I got to strip the tree of its branches and convert it into a pole for sticking into a flower bed and growing climbing plants up. We've now got three such poles. One of them has a rose gamely clinging onto it for dear life. The other two (including the specimen created on Sunday) are still awaiting our getting into the garden and organising anything at all that might resemble a floral display.
