Great Nana visits

Milly took the great iron horse from Bath yesterday to make a rare appearance in Plymouth and Millbrook to meet young Reuben for the first time.

I caught up with them after a day's slaving at the ticket windows in Plymouth station and got treated to a nice cup of tea and a sit down.

Milly had treated Dozybean and Mrs The Millbrooker to lunch in in return for lots of baby holding.

Here she is with the small but rapidly getting bigger Reuben:

This was the opportunity for the "four generations" photo as we had Great Nana, Nana, Mummy and Reuben all in the same place at the same time for the first time. It's a strange set up as Mrs The Millbrooker (it's no secret) is celebrating her half century this year whilst Milly only ever admits to being 38, so the generations can get a little confusing in this family. Still, here's the shot:

As can be seen, Reuben was very impressed. He remained very impressed for nearly all the time I was there, but he did decide he was a bit peckish and so Daddy did the decent thing and gave Dozybean time to prep..
Judging by the expression, Reuben was no longer very impressed. Fingers just don't produce the goods in the same way.
