Bern the Lens does it again

Bern the Lens has been digitalising his remarkable and extensive collection of railway photographs and thought that Daily(ish) Millbrook readers might like this one of Kicking Horse Pass in the Canadian Rockies. Nice one, Bern.

A note that Bern the Lens is retiring from the railway at the end of the month after 44 (count 'em) years. He's worked at the now defunct Tavistock station, at Saltash when it was still busy and staffed and has spent the last eight centuries at Plymouth. He'll be much missed at the Plymouth ticket office (but I have a feeling he'll be in quite frequent touch with us all).

Fourty four years - doesn't bear thinking about, does it?
