Breton Music: Soïg Sibéril

The little master - sublime guitar work and a technique that's all his own.

Soïg Sibéril lives in Trébrivan, just over the road from our pad and is world renowned within music circles. His work isn't jiggedy-jiggedy folk; he can do that stuff and much more complex pieces with one hand (literally - Mrs The Millbrooker and I were lucky enough to watch him do just that live at Treffrin back in July - check out the second video below).

So, sit back and enjoy the man live at the Chappelle Sainte Cado...





Better still - I've just found this video of the actual performance in Treffrin that we saw - watch the man play ONE handed! Oh yes - it's possible.
