A Peace Anthem For Palestine

I'm indebted to The Wizzers of Soz for sending me a link to this outstanding performance.

This time of year is often talked of a time of peace and goodwill to all men; then we hear of the appalling degradation and violence taking place in the holy land itself. In the very town of the Christmas story, Bethlehem, there have been riots and killings in recent years as the Palestinians rise in Intifada against Israel.

Luckily, Tim Minchin is on hand to help and (if you've got this far without clapping your hand to your head and saying "oh, god, he's off on one of his political rants") you should find this to be a real treat of a performance.

It's also very funny.
