The pet owners' dilemma - naming the creature(s) in question. Should one try and be witty? Is it a good idea to name an animal after a musical hero, a sportsman, a politician?
My old mucker in Westbury has excelled himself in this field, in my 'umble opinion.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like you to meet Geoffrey.
I asked why he'd been called Geoffrey and the reply came, in a manner that implied I'd entirely missed the point.
"Because he's Geoffrey Boy Cat"
I'm sure eagle eyed readers will spot the similarities. No?
