The Importance of Proof Reading

I tend not to write much specifically about my place of work on these pages, such things are fraught with danger and, whilst I might not like my job very much, I do need to stay in employment for the moment at least.

Sometimes, though, someone on the railway does something that just makes us all look a bit dim. Like the person responsible for putting this notice up at Plymouth Rail Station without first realising that their grasp of the English language is inadequate and that they should check every word in a dictionary before writing anything.

Oh dear - how difficult can it be to spell "visible". Too difficult for my employers, it seems.
