Birds in Abundance

Busy busy busy....Mrs The Millbrooker and I have been rushing around like the proverbial blue-arsed-wotsits in recent days (or is that recent weeks?)

Which means I've got huge amounts of catching up to do as regards these hallowed pages.

I think I'll start off gently with a few shots of the bird life on the Rame Peninsula, many of whom were singing their wee hearts out as we picnicked with Anal and Sandybum on the glorious Easter weekend.

Here are a couple of whitethroats - you could hear their almost demented warbling all over the place.

And, not singing because it's not really what they're about, we got a great sighting of a kestrel.
Yes, indeed, the peninsula was at its very best on Easter weekend.
