Those very nice people at Cinema Paradiso have received the copy of Zorba the Greek that we enjoyed so much on Sunday and, with much haste, have sent us this week's presentation for film club.
Once again, we are eschewing the delights of subtitled films because my vision isn't up to it at the moment, so we're going down the classic-era-of-film route.
1948's Portrait of Jennie is a romance with a twist. And the twist isn't only that it features the celluloid debut of one Nancy Davis (later to become Nancy Reagan and First Lady during her husband's presidency).
Usual time, usual place - hope to see all the usual film clubbers there.
