Can I Still Do This?

I haven't sat myself in front of this computer with the resolve to drivel nonsense forth unto the world for several months.

In fact, I have never sat down in front of this computer with that intent at all; the old steam driven jalopy of a laptop that served so well for all those years bit the dust in the summer and Millbrooker Towers' rapidly diminishing bank accounts took a hit so I could play on a shiny new thingy that I, frankly, have no idea how to use properly.

I've just spent several whole seconds pondering what photo I should illustrate this return to drivelling with. I've not used the camera much recently. Mainly because I've been playing the guitar loads and attempting those two activities at once results in a big hand appearing from the sky bearing a rubber stamp which is applied forcibly to one's forehead leaving the indelible words "Your brain has encountered a file incompatibility problem and must shut down. All unsaved work will be lost." Also because the old vision is getting so that I now describe myself as having small portholes in the blindness rather than having blind areas in my vision. Ho hum.

So, without much thought at all I chose this one as the first photo of the new blogging season.
Yes, indeed, it's Mrs The Millbrooker alongside the Wizzers of Soz, who no longer lives in Soz so is in need of a new sobriquet; I'm sure it won't take long.

As it's a sunny day, perhaps I should get out of the house, take the camera along and in good journalistic tradition go searching for a story. That'd be a first.

On the other hand I really need to spend some time trying to get my fingers around Ride a White Swan's deceptively simple riff.........hmmmmm choices choices.

Anyway, ladies and germs, I'm back. For which I both apologise and jubilate. Thank you for your patience and thank you to all those (surprisingly more than I might have thought) who have asked when I was going to start blogging again because they "missed it" or similar.

Until next time........soon.
