A miscellany of heaven-only-knows-what along with opinionated nonsense from the largest village in Cornwall. Plenty of silliness, very little of merit and the occasional tirade.

Winter Birdlife on the Lake
On Thursday 14th I gave myself a bit of extra time on the old commute (the walk from Millbrook to Cremyll) which allowed me to spend a few moments checking out how many winter visitors we have on the lake and tidal creek. This smashing little greenshank was one of many. We've also got a pair of tufted ducks, some red breasted mergansers and a couple of pochard have been spotted. No teal yet though. Here endeth the ornithological lesson.
