We're not quite there yet; it's been a long old job; Graham works carefully and solo.
There is light at the end of the enormously long tunnel, though. The front pitch of the roof is now resplendent with its newly laid slates (real ones, none of this compressed fibre rubbish) and the scaffolding at the front of the house has returned from whence it came.
Just a bit more to do at the back before Graham can resume his own life again and we can try getting back to some semblance of normality at Millbrooker Towers. Whatever normality might be.
