Foyle's Philavery

On Christmas morning one of the presents I got to open was a beautifully bound copy of a little known work "Foyle's Philavery". It's a cracking collection of unusual words. I think it's time to share one with you.

I think this word should be slipped into conversation whenever you feel the need to sound impressive.

The word is dasypygal which is a glorious adjective describing the attribute of having hairy buttocks.

Do you know anyone who could be thought of as dasypygal? If so, you should show them this blog forthwith so that they know they have a word specific to their condition. It will make them feel proud.
