As I write, the much missed yellow thing that is supposed to hang around in the sky unencumbered by nasty black and grey wet jobbies at this time of year is just trying to poke it's face out.
It seems half a lifetime ago, though, that Mrs The Millbrooker and I enjoyed our first al-fresco dinner on the upper patio in the working-site that constitutes our garden.
Let's enjoy whatever sunshine we get, it's not looking good for a long hot summer so we'll need to to get outside at every opportunity. So what am I doing sitting here writing nonsense? I'm off into the garden for a second bout of shed painting...
