I've not stuck anything up on these pages from Bern the Lens for a while; it's high time this omission was put right, so here's a couple of great shots from the man himself.
First up is one he sent to me back before Christmas which got a bit lost in the archives; it's "Albert" on the Plym Valley Railway. Bern quotes this shot as being ...
"...14:30 Marsh Mills to Lee Moor Crossing Santa Special. Train is climbing past Marsh Mills North Junction, the route of the former GWR Tavistock Branch closed 46 years ago this month [Dec '08]. A fine sight and sound indeed."
Just a couple of days ago I got this fresh shot of an unusual cloud formation over Yelverton Common, which caught the Lensman's eye as he was out in search of a decent sunset:Keep 'em coming, Bern, and thank you!
