The Art of Not Working

As I was idly flipping through assorted other Blogspot sites using the "next blog" button at the top of most Blogspot pages, I came across this little gem.

I've put up a link to it on the right hand side of these pages, just because I like what Judith in New Zealand is doing.

In her own words she's "Fighting Creeping Decrepitude and living a back-to-basics lifestyle in a remote and isolated part of the Tararua District of New Zealand, surrounded by a wildly overgrown garden and sheep, cows, chooks, bunnies, and other assorted wildlife..."

Judith lives somewhere not a million miles away from here (the mountain range shares its name with her dwelling place, Tararua):
And her garden looks like this (if I didn't know better, I'd think she might be trying to put the Millbrooker Towers' weedpatch to shame):
Give it a try - you might enjoy her style as well; amongst other things there's some cool music by Richard Thompson that she's posted and some enjoyable writing about her lifestyle.

Thanks so much for this! I also like to sip on a good red wine from time to time, though in my case it's usually an Aussie Shiraz or a Kiwi Cabernet. I think we might have a lot in common. I'll be keeping an eye on your blog from now on. Cheers from Tararua.
