Just a quickie for the steam fans.
Bern the Lens has sent me this cracking shot from the Bodmin-Wenford railway.
I'll quote Bern's email, because he knows infinitely more about this sort of thing than I do.
"I was not far away from you this last weekend - we had the GWR Steam Gala on the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, three days of glorious steam and glorious weather.
Spring has really sprung, 5521 climbs past a spring time carpet of flowers at Wesheath with the 1253 Boscarne Junction to Bodmin General 16-04-10.
The GWR purists will note the engine is now fitted with an air brake pump, something it never carried in normal service, but who on earth cares with a scene so lovely as this. Best of luck with the play later this week.
Bernard"
