Bern the Lens took a peek at these pages a bit earlier today and thought immediately of one of his far-famed photos which also features St Martin's Church in Liskeard, albeit as a background to some railway activity.
As usual, I'll let Bern tell it in his own words.
" I see in the blog today about your visit to Liskeard [post immediately below this one - The Millbrooker], thought you may like to see this one from Bolitho Farm when we had the steam on the Looe Branch back in September, Liskeard Church is prominent on the sky line and it is quite a local landmark."
